1. Psalm 34:17- “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I cry out to you in my distress, knowing that you hear me. Your word promises that you always hear me when I pray. Thank you in advance for delivering me from all my troubles according to your good will. Grant me strength and courage to face each day with faith. Show me the way forward and help me align with the plans that you have for me. In Jesus name, Amen.

2. Psalm 42:11 – “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

Prayer: Lord, my soul feels downcast and disturbed, and so right now I make an intentional decision to focus on you and your love for me. Help me to put my hope in you, my Savior and my God. Please fill my heart and mouth with praise, even in the midst of my difficulties. In Jesus name, Amen.

3. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, you are my God and you are filled with compassion towards me. I know that to be true because your word says that you are the Father of compassion and the source of all comfort. So, today I take comfort in your presence and in your Word. There are troubles that I am walking through but I know that I am not alone. Thank you for being with me and surrounding me with others who care. Help me, to extend comfort to others, even as I am walking through my own struggles. In Jesus name, Amen.

4. Psalm 40:1-3 – “I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am choosing to wait patiently for you, trusting that you will hear my cries. Thank you for lifting me out of despair and placing my feet on solid ground. A place that fills my heart with peace and puts a song of praise in my mouth. Please use my life for your glory and let them see through me that even though life can be hard, you are still worth of worship. Please help others to see you in me. In Jesus name, Amen.
